About

I’m a writer exploring the world of blogging as creative expression.

guitar guidy1

This blog began as my creative outlet to explore writing and reach for more joy in my life. After 3 years of blogging, I can say that it’s been a wonderful journey to joy. I have found more peace, joy and purpose in my life thanks to blogging and connecting with writers and readers around the globe. What began as a personal journey to joy has become a shared journey to joy and freedom. I believe that we are meant to thrive, live and love fully, The journey of life is learning how to do that. Not always easy, but definitely worth the journey!

Choice is probably our greatest power, love our greatest gift, and gratitude our greatest tool for unlocking minds and hearts.

I love sharing inspiring stories and helping others to thrive. If I can inspire or help you thrive, I would be honored. May you find the peace that passes understanding. Then you’ll have a taste of true freedom and joy.

Wishing you a lifetime of blessings.

They are often right where we are, once we learn to accept and appreciate our lives. May you feed your creative urges and open the door to your greatness. Speaking of creative urges, you might enjoy my photography on the gallery page or my favorite videos by other artists on the inspiration page.

blessings, muse brad

P.S. My blog is award free by choice. Thanks for understanding. <3

I very much appreciate every nomination and acknowledgement of my blog. Even more, I appreciate the folks who care enough to read, comment and share my writing with others. I prefer spontaneous sharing of each other’s blogs and posts. Blessings my dear readers and friends.

P.S.S. Thank you Sangeeta, Stacy, Rupa, Fatima, Rachel, Lorrie and all who have graciously nominated me for awards.

    • Thanks Denise, when you visit, you really do it with gusto! Thanks. I appreciate you reading & commenting on several posts. Yes, we share some interests, especially moving from surviving to thriving. I grew up in a typical disfunctional family and have gradually learned tools to thrive and grow. I share my journey in the hopes of helping others as I imagine you do too.

  4. Dear Brad,
This is one of the most memorable “About” I have read in a long time. I believe it is because every sentence, every word shines so purely from your heart. I could just sit down and reflect on each line above and they would indeed open up new worlds, new thoughts. Indeed, I believe you do inspire us all to become more than what we thought we could be. • Thanks for visiting. I’m glad you were touched by my posts. Connecting and inspiring are my main goals, though I’m also realizing that sometimes
we have to be willing to go through the fear & pain to arrive at the light, but that’s another post! thanks, Brad

  6. Thank you for taking the time to read my poem, “The Sigh of the Eternal Glade” today and showing your support with a friendly like. :) I have the soul of an old writer, but I am a newborn in the blogging world, just starting this month. I started too for very similar reasons and for gaining a forgotten voice. I have found in a very short time how much this process has redirected and will change my journey; connecting with people like you along the way is such a blessing. My best to you.

    • Welcome Shelley. Already vying for favorite reader award? XD (I hope my humor goes over). Thank you. My first and stronger passion is photography, but I’m out of practice and without a good camera. That’s nice feedback to know that my words have grown and developed. I never really aspired to be a writer, I simply enjoy the process of pondering, writing and sharing. More to ponder! :)

  12. I see that we come from the same mold. Although I have been blogging a little less than you, I have found so much joy, purpose, and discovery through the process of placing the musings in my head on to paper (or screen, as it may be). The part of the journey that makes it so worthwhile is when you run across like-minded people who possess a shared passion and energy for the same things and are willing to share it with one another. Very happy to have crossed paths with you and look forward to many intersections in the future ;-)
